This six week follow-up class to Introduction to Mosaics I is for students who want to further their study and begin to hone their basic skills while becoming familiar with more advanced concepts. In addition to ongoing dialogues of appropriate materials, adhesives, substrates and grout, students will begin a larger project that will be developed by learning about color, design and andamento. Students will be strongly encouraged to explore and develop original designs. Participants will develop confidence, independence and courage to take their work to the next level. As always at CMS, guidance and encouragement will be provided for students wanting to continue to learn about the vast possibilities within mosaic art. Materials and use of tools are included. Prerequisite: Introduction to Mosaics I. Class size is limited to 12.
