This informative and fun 6 week class will cover all the basic information students will need to complete two different projects. This class is intended for beginning students who want to learn the process of creating mosaics; cutting, adhesion, tile layout, and grouting. Students will complete two small panels using two different methods so to introduce them to materials such as glass tile, art glass, china, ceramic tile, smalti, marble and more. Students are encouraged to experiment with color and texture to discover the possibilities of mosaic. All materials and use of tools are included. This course is limited to 12 students per session.
