Learning why elements in a mosaic are meaningful and discovering how to connect them will be explored with Maestro Marzi in this 6 day workshop. Drawing relationships between materials and shapes through composition and rhythm- this class will give students new perspectives about their work. Participants will discover their relationships to materials and the meaning that can be culled form them. The cost of this 6 day workshop includes a walking tour of Chicago mosaics, complete access to the CMS studio,use of tools and a comprehensive selection of materials, $1100. This is an advanced class; pre- requisite is Modern Expression I or by permission of the instructor. Class size is limited to 12 students.
